Howard R. D. Gordon (Teaching and Learning) recently was selected as Distinguished Alumnus-Academia by the agricultural leadership, and community education department in the College of Agricultural Life Sciences at Virginia Tech. He obtained his doctorate in agricultural science education at Virginia Tech in 1984.
