Wine can be daunting and confusing but with UNLV Hospitality's club, The Wine Society, you can learn all about wine! Anything from the history of wine, how it's made, wine-tasting, and how to pair wine with food. Through our events you will have the opportunity to learn and gain lots of wine wisdom with the club! Join us, as we endeavor to wine!

Getting Involved

The student organization holds meetings throughout each semester. Visiting speakers from the trade, press and the wine education sectors will be invited to present interactive workshops both virtually and on campus to members of the UNLV College of Hospitality Wine Society. Active student members will have the opportunity to win merit-based scholarships to sit for wine certificate exams.

Who Should Join?

Wine Society is looking for hospitality and wine enthusiast students who are interested in pursuing careers in food and beverage or are purely fascinated by history of wine and wine making. If you would like to broaden your knowledge of wine, wine making and pairing gaining food with wine through experiences that will help you develop professionally, join us!

Events

Wine Society members can expect educational events such as: guest speakers from the top local and national wineries, sommeliers, visits to different wineries and workshops and mixers.
