The Harrah College of Hospitality Mentor Program connects students with industry professionals who are eager to provide their time, knowledge, and experience to support students as they begin making career choices.
Mentorship gives students like you the opportunity to:
- Build important life skills like goal setting, critical thinking and communication;
- Create a foundation for your hospitality industry network;
- Explore career opportunities and gain insight into the world of work; and
- Access resources for life-long learning and development.
Interested in Mentoring a Hospitality Student?
If you work in the hospitality or tourism industry, consider sharing your experiences and professional knowledge with a UNLV Hospitality Management student. By becoming an industry mentor, you are:
- Supporting future professionals in your field;
- Making a positive impact in the community;
- Developing your leadership and communication skills; and
- Meeting some great people.
How Do I Get Involved?
Students
Upper level and graduate Hospitality students are eligible to participate in the mentor program. Rebels in Las Vegas must apply by filling out the application form and dropping it off to the Boughner Career Services Center (HOS 128); students studying outside Las Vegas may apply by completing an online application form.
