The Student Union offers both large ballroom spaces and smaller meeting rooms. Student Union staff are seasoned event planners equipped with all the amenities and tools to help plan and produce your event at any of the venues under the Student Union umbrella. Catering for the Student Union is provided through the university’s provider, Aramark.

The Student Union uses a priority scheduling process, which provides priority first to registered student organizations, then to UNLV departments and units, and finally to external groups. Due to high demand, spaces are often booked weeks or months in advance.

Both Hospitality Hall and the Stan Fulton Building have numerous event spaces for any meeting or special event. These venues offer dedicated catering services through Chef Mark Sandoval of the William F. Harrah College of Hospitality or by Aramark (only when Chef Mark’s catering team is unavailable).

The Foundation Building has a large ballroom and several smaller meeting spaces available for rental. When using the Foundation Building venues, catering may be obtained through the university’s preferred vendor, Aramark.

The Richard Tam Alumni Center offers a large ballroom along with smaller meeting and lounge spaces and an outdoor courtyard space. When using the Tam Alumni Center, catering is booked through Aramark, the university’s preferred provider.

Large and small venues for a wide variety of events are available at the Thomas & Mack Center, Strip View Pavilion, and Cox Pavilion. Their booking and production staff can assist with space rental, Aramark catering, and other services such as ticketing and marketing.

The Performing Arts Center offers three large performance facilities for rental:

• Artemus Ham Concert Hall
• Judy Bayley Theatre
• Black Box Theatre

To rent the Paul Harris Theater or additional smaller performance spaces, contact the Department of Theatre.

For a dance performance space, contact the Department of Dance.

The museum offers a number of unique locations for events. Available space includes the gallery, outdoor patio, and the auditorium.

Located at the entrance to the Marjorie Barrick Museum, the Donald H. Baepler Xeric showcases a variety of drought-tolerant plants. The Xeric Garden can be booked through the Marjorie Barrick Museum of Art.

The Science and Engineering Building (SEB) has several event spaces that may be used by UNLV organizations and departments. Spaces are primarily promoted for users in the science and engineering fields, although all requests are considered. To reserve SEB spaces, complete the request form and email it to seb@unlv.edu.

Located at the Harry Reid Technology Park, Black Fire Innovation is UNLV's innovation hub for showcasing technology in hospitality, gaming, and entertainment. This unique event venue provides the look and feel of an integrated resort with features such as an esports arena, casino floor, and robotic technology.

Other meeting spaces such as classrooms and conference rooms are located within academic buildings. 

• To hold non-academic department events in general purpose classrooms or auditoriums, book through the SUES website.
• To hold an academic department event in a general purpose classroom space, book through the Office of the Registrar. Please note that reservations that require refreshments, room setup assistance, or audio-visual needs/support, must be requested through the SUES website.
• All academic space event requests for Registered Student Organizations (RSOs) must be booked through the SUES website.
• For assistance with booking conference rooms, contact the college/school dean’s office.

Campus outdoor green space, including the Student Union Courtyard, Valerie Pida Plaza, Alumni Amphitheatre, Tonopah Lawn, Warner Green, and basketball and volleyball courts, can be reserved through the SUES website.
