Please note that all new degree-seeking students will be charged a one-time, non-refundable orientation fee whether or not the student attends orientation.
Incoming First-Year Students
All incoming first-year students are required to complete Online Pre-Orientation and attend New Student Orientation. Students must complete Online Pre-Orientation before their orientation session. First-year students must attend the entire program.
Incoming Transfer, Military & Veteran, and International Students
All students are required to complete Online Pre-Orientation and attend New Student Orientation. Students must complete Online Pre-Orientation before their orientation session. Students must attend the entire program.
Military & Veteran Students
Military and veteran students are also required to attend the Rebel Veteran Transition Orientation. Read for more information.
International Students
International students are also required to attend the New International Student Welcome. Read for more information.
Exemptions
If an extenuating circumstance prevents you from completing orientation in person, you can request to be approved to do orientation virtually. Request an virtual orientation during orientation registration, which is located in the to-do list of your MyUNLV account. Orientation staff will review these requests on a rolling basis and notify you if your request has been approved or denied.
