Miliaikeala Heen (Graduate College) is the recipient of the Outstanding Thesis Award for her thesis, "Putting The Microscope On Crime Labs: The Effects of Evidence Complexity And Laboratory Type On Jurors' Perceptions Of Forensic Evidence." She is pursuing a master of arts degree in criminal justice.
Jordan Watkins (Graduate College) is the recipient of the Outstanding Dissertation Award. He is pursuing a doctoral degree in history. His dissertation is titled "Slavery, Sacred Texts, and the Antebellum Confrontation with History."
Margie Penden-Adams (Harry Reid Center) has been appointed associate editor for the new Journal of Environmental Immunology and Toxicology.
