Katelyn DiBenedetto (Graduate College) presented at the National Association of Student Personnel Administrators conference in Los Angeles earlier this month. Titled "Pillars of Graduate Student Success: Realigning Professional Development Opportunities to Meet the 21st Century Needs of Graduate Students," the presentation focused on how the Graduate College's Professional Development Academy is realigning its workshops, events, programs, and academic support certifications to fall within several key pillars. The purpose of this realignment is to help graduate students at UNLV gain more marketable and transferable skills for a variety of career pathways. DiBenedetto is a postdoctoral scholar. Valarie Burke (Graduate College) collaborated on the presentation.
