Accomplishments: School of Dental Medicine

Dr. Neamat Hassan, Dr. Tanya Al-Talib, and Angelica Bustos (all Dental) co-authored "Retrospective Analysis of the Association of Non-Carious Cervical Lesions with Bruxism," which appeared in the February issue of the Open Journal of Stomatology. Bustos is a third-year dental student.
Dr. James Mah (Dental) co-authored "Craniofacial Analysis May Indicate Co-Occurrence of Skeletal Malocclusions and Associated Risks in Development of Cleft Lip and Palate,” which appeared in a special issue of the Journal of Development Biology. The multi-institutional study was in collaboration with the National Institutes of Health.  
Linh Nguyen, Karl Kingsley, Arvin Alexander, and Graydon Carr (all Dental) published their work on oral microbiology in the latest issue of Microbiology Research Journal International. Carr will graduate with an MS in oral biology in 2020 and Alexander is a dental student who is planning to graduate in 2021.
