Academic Programs

Our department offers a variety of programs designed to increase global understanding and competence; foster awareness of international literature, music, and film; improve a student’s employment potential; sharpen cognitive and analytical skills; make travel more feasible and enjoyable; improve entry into graduate studies; and broaden knowledge of the past and other cultures while increasing a student’s understanding of their own language and culture.

Language Placement

For all language course levels, students must be placed into their appropriate level prior to registration.
