Brian Slipock

Brian Slipock, '92 BS Hotel Administration, and his wife, Robin Harris Slipock, '93 BS Hotel Administration, took over ownership of 7 Sinful Subs on Maryland Parkway in June. They say they like having a restaurant across from UNLV because it allows them to give back to the university. In addition to 7 Sinful Subs, they still own Jacksons Bar and Grill on Flamingo and Jones as well as a hair salon called Mad About Hair, which also is at Flamingo and Jones. Their daughter, Dina, recently went away to college, leaving them empty nesters

Irene M. Wandtke

Irene Sereno Wandtke, '04 BSBA - Accounting, was promoted to shareholder of Gerety & Associates, CPAs in June. Participating in craft shows is one of her hobbies. She and her husband, Richard Wandtke, '89  BSBA - Marketing, love visiting Disneyland.   

Aaron Morales

Aaron Morales, '06 BS Kinesiology, is the owner of both Lifetime Fitness Solutions and Golden Years Rehabilitation. He lives in Old Lyme, Connecticut.

Brandon Bouier

Brandon Bouier, '09 BA Computer Science, is a software engineer on assignment at the Pentagon working with the Defense Digital Service. He has applied his collective STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) expertise to various government agencies across the nation and around the world, analyzing, standardizing, and simplifying technical processes. Hobbies include traveling, reading, and teaching. He lives in Seattle.

Randy Hatada

Randy Hatada, '03 BSBA - Marketing, is broker/owner of Xpand Realty as well as a partner in both Island Sushi & Grill and Zenshin Asian Restaurant. He is married to Teri Jaye Takahata Hatada, '08 MBA.      

David Morris

David Morris, '17 BS Engineering, is on active duty as a U.S. Air Force officer. He works as a space operator with early warning radar on the precision acquisition vehicle entry phased array warning system (PAVE PAWS) at Cape Cod Air Station, Massachusetts. The Rancho High School graduate is a licensed pilot and a New York Yankees fan who enjoys golfing and snow skiing.    

Iris Hattersley

Iris Hattersley, '12 BA English, attended graduate-level summer school literature courses at the University of Oxford, Exeter College, in July. She celebrated her 75th birthday while there. She hopes to complete her master's degree in English at UNLV in December. She previously has worked as a deputy U.S. marshal, a special agent for the Department of Defense, and a special investigator. Her hobbies include reading, walking, traveling with her husband, and spending time with friends. She lives in Henderson.

Vontoba Terry

Vontoba Terry, '09 MA Economics, is president and chief financial officer of UI Global Brands, which includes Urban Hydration, a bath and haircare brand that donates a portion of all sales to a charity providing drinking water to third world countries. He also is the author of an inspirational novel, Operation C: The Gift. He and his wife, Psyche Terry, '09 MBA, live in Frisco, Texas.

Heather Killmeyer

Heather Baldwin Killmeyer, '01 Master of Music, was one of two oboists selected to perform at the International Fellowship of Conductors, Composers, and Collaborators at Indiana University of Pennsylvania last June. She was awarded an honorary faculty induction into the Pi Kappa Lambda National Music Honors Society. The assistant professor of double reeds at East Tennessee State University, she also is the oboist, creator, and artistic director of the experimental music ensemble Dada Cabaret. She lives in Johnson City.

John Holcombe

John Holcombe, '98 BSBA - Finance, has been a private wealth advisor for more than 19 years, helping individuals, families, and businesses achieve their financial goals. This includes guidance on asset management, investment planning, insurance planning, tax planning, retirement planning, estate planning, educational savings planning, and intergenerational wealth transfer planning. He works at Every Season Wealth Management. An alumni member of Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity, he owns a puggle named Marley. His hobbies include traveling, golfing, skydiving, fixing things, and anything related to the beach.  

Debra Lehr

Debra Duston Lehr, '97 Hospitality Administration, is the new executive director for Main Street Gardnerville, the longest running Main Street program in Nevada.

Katy Crow

Katy Mills Crow, '86 BSBA - Accounting, recently was promoted to the position of city clerk for the city of Lenexa, Kansas, after completing her master of public administration degree at the University of Missouri - Kansas City. She says that while she enjoys living in Kansas, she misses Rebel basketball games and that living in Jayhawk country is hard. She and her husband,Todd Crow, '86 BSBA - Accounting,  '89 MBA, have one son, Dylan.
