The Nevada Minority Health and Equity Coalition (NMHEC) is offering a virtual Grant Writing 101 for Non-Profits Workshop on Sept. 17, from 1 p.m. - 3 p.m. The workshop will be taught by Jason Flatt from UNLV and Laura Hernandez from the LGBTQ+ Center of Southern Nevada. 

This workshop will provide an overview of best practices for grant writing for non-profit organizations. Participants will learn about funding sources, grant proposals, program narratives, and tips and strategies for grant writing for non-profit and public institutions.
