Brain Study: Recruiting Paid Participants in Exercise Program for Concussion or Mild Traumatic Brain Injury

Brain Injury Translational Research (BITR) lab (PI: Hyunhwa "Henna" Lee) is seeking paid volunteers aged 18-40 years who had a mild traumatic brain injury (concussion) between the last 3 months and 24 months.   

  • Those with active medical or psychiatric illnesses, or are currently taking any prescribed medications, may not be eligible to participate in this study (IRB #: UNLV-2023-245).
  • Each participant will be asked to participate in a 14-day dual-task home exercise (15 minutes of exercise every day) that may improve cognitive, physical balance and other functions.
  • Three or four separate, 1.5-hour study visits over 6 - 8 weeks will be required. Every participant will receive monetary compensation (up to $160-200 in total) and parking permits for all on-site study visits.
