Mark Buttner and Patricia Cruz (both Environmental & Occupational Health) received a 12-month, $1.26 million award through Nevada Health and Human Services to conduct molecular microbiological environmental monitoring and research. Kelly Tseng, (Life Sciences) is the recipient of a new sponsored research program with Provectus Biopharmaceuticals, a clinical-stage biotechnology company. The project is to investigate and characterize the effects of Provectus' drug product on vertebrate tissue regeneration and repair.
