To advance innovation and research, casino and gambling giant Caesars Entertainment has partnered with the University of Las Vegas to develop a casino innovation hub on the university’s southwest campus.
A Las Vegas casino company and the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, say they’re partnering to create a teaching and practice space featuring a mock casino, hotel rooms, sports betting area and esports arena.

Former Vice President Al Gore is in Las Vegas today. Gore will speak at UNLV at an event on climate change. It starts at 3 p.m. at the Artemus W. Ham Concert Hall. The discussion is open to the public but the ticketed event is at capacity.
