December 6th is a day that will forever go down in history – the day of the UNLV shooting that claimed the lives of three UNLV faculty members. As we continue to mourn the losses of UNLV Professor, Jerry Cha-Jan Chang, Ph.D., UNLV Assistant Professor, Patricia Navarro Velez, Ph.D., and UNLV Associate Professor, Naoko Takemaru, Ph.D., the university has unveiled its plans to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all of it’s students, professors, and employees on campus. Included in this plan is the new ‘Rebel Recovery Program.’
The 2023 fiscal impact report suggested that passing an online bill would cannibalize Indiana’s retail casinos by 30% or more. That report cited a 2011 study from the UNLV Gaming Research and Review Journal. At the time, online casinos hadn’t launched in the US.
