CVS and Walgreens, two retail pharmacy chains, wasted more COVID-19 vaccine doses than states, territories, and federal agencies combined, according to a Kaiser Health News analysis.

There have many cases where people have been arrested and charged for not doing their part in curbing the spread of the COVID-19 virus - for offences ranging from operating businesses that were supposed to be closed to not wearing face masks in public. One international Crisis Communication specialist said these breaches may be because people do not feel respected when these messages are put out.

Every week, temporary COVID-19 vaccine clinics pop up all around Southern Nevada, in places like parks, community centers, and fire stations.

Currently, Nevada has about the fifth largest population of Asian Americans. That’s 238,000 people or 8 percent of the state’s population. For comparison, the national average is 5.6 percent per state.
