A’s management responded firmly Friday to a report that connected the team to Las Vegas. According to the Chicago Tribune, Major League Baseball commissioner Rob Manfred told a group of sports editors “if we were looking at relocation, Las Vegas would be on the list.” He then added that “until the Tampa Bay and Oakland situations are settled, I can’t see talking about expansion.”

Las Vegas is a gambling mecca that attracts millions of tourists from around the world with its great climate and entertainment-packed resorts. Those millions of visitors, hotel marketing experts say, can be categorized into four buckets: wholesale customers, group customers, FIT (free independent travelers) and casino discount customers.

As someone who's been at this parenting gig a while, and has subjected myself (and my kids) to quite a few parenting trends over the years, I tend to view most parenting choices, as "you do you and I'll do me."
