A new department of brain health was added in the Spring of 2019 and is part of The School of Integrated Health Sciences.
The department of Brain Health adds a research program that investigates neurodegenerative diseases, forges multiple collaborations within the university and surrounding community, and expands the university’s existing neuroscience and population health and health equities research initiative. The Department of Brain Health offers an entry-level Occupational Therapy Doctorate degree and a post-professional Occupational Therapy doctorate. Faculty in the Department of Brain Health also contributes to the Interdisciplinary Neuroscience Ph.D. program.
