The Greenspun College of Urban Affairs’ mission is to promote community solutions and resilience. Students in the college learn the knowledge and skills to make a positive impact in their communities. The college’s academic programs address community resiliency, mental health and social well-being, youth homelessness, crime and safety, storytelling, civic engagement, communication, collaboration, community engagement, leadership and public policy. The college’s cutting-edge curriculum, research programs, and private-publicpartnerships prepare students with workforce skills necessary to ensure they are successful and ready for an adaptable, resilient, and dynamic workforce.

Dean's Associates

The Dean’s Associates Fund supports student research opportunities and conference travel, among other initiatives. Our students are at the forefront of various activities, including congressional internships, journalism practicums, and student leadership representation in higher-ed symposiums.

KUNV

KUNV 91.5 is a non-profit public radio station located within the UNLV Hank Greenspun School of Journalism and Media Studies at the Greenspun College of Urban Affairs.

Endowments

Endowments fund scholarships, fellowships, professorships, research, and special programs in perpetuity.
