The Science & Engineering Building has several spaces that may be used by UNLV Departments, Colleges and Student Organizations. The spaces are primarily promoted for users in the science and engineering fields relating to research, although all space requests shall be considered.

Space Availability
All space rental is limited to Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. No weekends, evenings or holidays are permitted. During spring and fall semesters, classrooms are available on a very limited basis Monday through Friday, however, the auditorium is usually available on Fridays. The lobby is available Monday through Friday, but the type of activity and number of people may be restricted Monday through Thursdays when classes are in session.

- No food or beverages (except water) allowed in auditorium.
- Standard Equipment includes:
- Touch panel with camera and audio controls and presets
- Projector and screen
- Lectern with desktop computer, AUX and HDMI inputs, built-in microphone, and document camera
- DVD and Blue-ray player
- Additional wireless and lapel microphones
- SEB-1240 (40 capacity), 1242 (68 capacity), 1243 (68 capacity), 1245 (30 capacity).
- Prior approval required for food and beverage (except water) allowed in classrooms.
- RebelFlex Equipment includes:
- One high-definition camera with full pan, tilt, and zoom controls
- Touch panel with camera and audio controls and presets
- Projector and screen
- Up to two ceiling microphones with echo cancellation
- Lectern with desktop computer, AUX and HDMI inputs, built-in microphone, and document camera
- Web conferencing and lecture capture recording capabilities
- Additional wireless lapel microphones
- 2250 sq. ft. open lobby space.
- Activities have included conferences, poster sessions, ceremonies, cocktail receptions, guest speakers and more.
- Resources: poster walls.
The SEB has five (5) conference rooms that seat 10-24 people and offer audio visual equipment such as:
- flat screen monitors, laptop connection (VGA), DVD, VCR, whiteboard, and projector (some restrictions apply based on room).
- These rooms may be utilized in conjunction with your requested event should space be available.
General Concerns
SEB Facilities are available to reserve for meetings and events by University colleges and departments and registered student organizations. All events in SEB are limited to Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. No weekends, evenings or holidays are allowed.
If Tech services are required, requests should be made with OIT. SEB does not have staff available to assist with this process.
Parking needs may be arranged with Parking Services.
All event services and resources must be provided by the event organizer.
