We aim to prepare students for careers in private industry, non-profit, government agencies, or positions requiring study design or data analysis responsibilities. The department provides statistical consulting, survey design and implementation services both at the School of Public Health and campus wide.

Department of Social and Behavioral Health
Our department's faculty engage in research and develop/evaluate community-based programs to promote health and disease prevention. Health behavior research, health education, health promotion, health communication, and the study of the social determinants of health and health disparities are essential to this area.
