Leann Karr brings to UNLV over 30 years of educational experience. Leann was born and raised in Nebraska where she earned her BME from Nebraska Wesleyan University. After spending many years as a teacher, Leann stepped into the world of school administration and then moved to working in higher education. Leann received a Master of Education from Lesley College in Cambridge, Massachusetts and a second Master of Arts in Education Administration from Concordia University in Irvine, California. Prior to joining the staff at UNLV, Leann served as the director of student services at Wichita State University. When she’s not at work, you’ll find Leann spending time with her husband, trying out new recipes, and doting on her grandchildren.
