From December 2, 2024 - February 3, 2025, the CFA Advising Center will offer extended drop-in hours. Advisors will be available for drop-ins only on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 9AM-12PM, and 1-4PM unless otherwise noted below. Appointments will be available for new and transfer students on Mondays and Fridays. Please call our front desk at 702-895-5390 or 702-895-3579 to set up an appointment with an advisor.

Current majors: You may self-schedule your advising appointment in Rebel Success Hub by using your ACE account and following the instructions here. When you are scheduling, please be sure to add comments to share more about your appointment needs.
All scheduled appointments will be completed using one of the following formats:
- Virtual appointments through Zoom (screen-sharing is available)
- Phone appointments through a preferred phone number
- In-person appointments at the advising center (CDC-2)

Reasons to Schedule An Appointment
Some reasons to meet with an advisor are described below.
- Discuss course requirements, sequencing, and prerequisites
- Verify that your courses are applicable to your degree plan
- Cover how your degree plan relates to your career goals
- Review transfer credits or request an equivalency review
- Make changes to your schedule or graduation timeline
- Discuss the graduation process
- Declare a Fine Arts major or minor
- Discuss withdrawing from one or more courses
- Complete financial appeals, petitions, excess credit, veteran, and other miscellaneous forms
- Learn about academic resources and involvement opportunities at UNLV
- Learn about program, department, college, or university policies
- Provide feedback about your experiences at UNLV

Drop-in Hours
Drop-ins are seen on a first come, first served basis by major at the locations listed below. Please click the drop-down arrow for your major to see the location and meeting modality for the day.
Our advisors use Zoom for virtual advising appointments with students. If you are connecting using your phone, you may be required to download the Zoom app. Unless a different location is listed, our in-person drop-in appointments are held in our offices in the Central Desert Complex CDC - Building 02.
