Biography
Jack grew up in Minnesota, earning his B.A. at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities before moving to North Carolina, where he completed his master’s at UNC-Wilmington. Prior to joining Fine Arts Advising at UNLV, he worked in Admissions at the University of Minnesota and ran the MAPS office at Western Carolina University, overseeing independent student support and advising along with summer learning communities. Jack is passionate about helping remove barriers to student access and success and is excited to work with Rebel students to help meet and exceed their academic and professional goals. Outside of work, Jack enjoys hanging out with his son Fox, climbing big rocks, reading widely, and playing banjo.
