Heather Frigiola (Anthropology), a doctoral student who studies with professor Ivan Sandoval-Cervantes, has published a paper, "Canine Ministries: Co-Instrumentality of Human and Dog in a Christian Ontology," in the AAA journal Anthropology and Humanism. She is a Ph.D. student.
Drs. Gregory P. Brown, Lisa Durette, Timothy Ebright, and Katie Cho, wrote the lead article, "Restoring Wholeness to Psychiatry: Models of Understanding." for the International Journal of Healing and Caring. All four are from the department of psychiatry and behavioral health. 
Hope Hinchman, Karen Eisenburg, Jacquelin Killian  and 19 students (all Nursing) have been inducted into the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. Hinchman will be the vice president of UNLV's chapter. Eisenburg will be UNLV's counselor. Killian will serve as a member of the Succession Committee.
Jennifer Peltier (Nursing) won Best Poster at the 2022 Western Institute of Nursing Conference for her work on implementing and evaluating virtual escape rooms. She is a doctoral student.
Amanda Gutierrez and Janelle Rafanan (both Nursing) were named to the national board of the National Student Nurses Association (NSNA). Both are undergraduates. Gutierrez was named NSNA director. Rafanan was named to the Nomination and Election Committee.
