Boyd Gaming has unveiled its Q3 2023 earnings report, reaching $903.2 million in revenue during the period. The company has also surpassed the $877.3 million earned during the same quarter in 2022.
Advantage Capital, an impact investing firm, has announced a $4 million investment in Goodwrx, a Las Vegas-based company providing a tech-enabled platform that pairs hospitality workers with employers looking to supplement their existing workforce.
To facilitate the investment, the Nevada Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) helped connect Advantage Capital and Goodwrx.
The immersive art-entertainment district, which first opened in January 2020, has everything from art installations and zip lining to an arcade and virtual golf, all housed within a retrofuturistic, neon-styled warehouse complex.
The programme was delivered by responsible gaming expert Prof. Bo J. Bernhard, vice president of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas’ (UNLV) Office of Economic Development, sharing insights on responsible gaming knowledge and his experience from the US.
