The top-seeded Lady Rebels were less than a minute away from officially punching their ticket with a 66-49 win over No. 7 San Diego State on Wednesday night at the Thomas & Mack Center.

UNLV’s Lady Rebels basketball team has been doing even better, losing just two games all season for the best record in the Mountain West and good enough to rank 23rd nationwide.

UNLV football is in the game. The long-awaited reboot of EA Sports’ college football video game series is expected to be released this summer, and the Rebels will be among the schools included.
