The University of Nevada Las Vegas (UNLV) will receive a $1.4 million grant from the U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT) to create a Tier-1 university transportation center (UTC) to improve rail infrastructure in Nevada and throughout the country, U.S. Sen. For years, the Shriners Hospitals for Children Open field has included PGA Tour golfers who played for UNLV coach Dwaine Knight. They have had a lot of success in the tournament, including in 2012 when Ryan Moore became the first former Rebel to win the hometown trophy.
