The PGA golf management program is one of only 18 PGA-accredited college programs in the U.S. and offers a unique opportunity to learn in Las Vegas—one of the top golf cities in the nation and home to nearly 50 notable courses. Students receive hands-on training through classroom instruction, practical internship experience, community service, and other career development opportunities.

Golf courses in Nevada use a lot of water, 236 million gallons annually. And, unlike water used indoors, this water cannot be reclaimed and sent back to Lake Mead. That’s why lawmakers cut water allotments for courses by a third beginning this year. And, since 2021, new golf courses are not allowed to use Colorado River water.
