You’ve got plenty of friends on social media until … there’s one less friend. In other words, you’ve been “unfriended.”

In May 2008, when Christina Randall was released from prison after serving nearly three years for battery, robbery and escape, she had nothing but $30 and the brand-new, ill-fitting clothes on her back. Beasley Media Group is using its esports initiative to build a presence on college campuses and attract students to its competitive gaming content. The broadcaster’s Beasley XP esports division has unveiled Checkpoint XP On Campus, a college-based collaboration with the Hank Greenspun School of Journalism and Media Studies (JMS) at the University of Nevada at Las Vegas (UNLV).
