UNLV student filmmakers Nicolle Petersen and Lily Campisi are on the verge of blanketing movie screens in ways never achieved by any blockbuster — not even the ones starring superheroes, Jedis or sparkly vampires.

After 17 scripts and months of hard work, UNLV film students Lily Campisi and Nicolle Peterson figured out a screenplay that landed them a top-five spot in a nationwide competition.

The 4th annual Nevada Women’s Film Festival (NWFFest) will be held March 22–25 at the Eclipse Theaters at 814 S. Third Street in downtown Las Vegas.
