The UNLV Wind Orchestra presents “The President’s Concert- Honoring America’s Heroes" at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 21. The concert is a special celebration of the military heroes and first responders who help keep our nation safe, as well as the incredibly honorable Las Vegans who have been awarded the French Legion of Honor. We thank them for their courage and valor.

All proceeds from this concert will benefit the UNLV Rebel Vets Fund. 

The evening's performance features Thomas G. Leslie, artistic director and conductor; guest conductors Col. John R. Bourgeois, director emeritus, United States Marine Band, “The President’s Own”; Lt. Col. James Michael Bankhead, former commander/ conductor USAF Band, Washington D.C.; Linda Moorehouse, associate director of the School of Music, University of Illinois; and Zane S. Douglass, UNLV instructor of conducting
