The UNLV Wind Orchestra is pleased to present the world premiere of "Children of Fatima," composed by music professor Anthony LaBounty, at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 7 in Artemus W. Ham Concert Hall. The orchestra will be conducted by Thomas G. Leslie, artistic director and conductor, and Zane S. Douglass, visiting assistant professor of conducting. Tenor Travis Williams will be guest soloist. The evening's concert also features a guest performance by the Las Vegas Academy of the Arts Wind Ensemble, conducted by John Seaton and David Maccabee.
