The UNLV Symphony Orchestra opens its 2016-17 season at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 28, in Artemus Ham Concert Hall. The performance features the winner of the UNLV Concerto Competition, flutist Jessica Patchett. Taras Krysa conducts.
