The Galaxy Luxury+ Theatres, the UNLV department of film and the UNLV Short Film Archive present the Midnight Treasures Screening Series starting midnight, Friday, Aug. 30, at the Galaxy Luxury+ Theaters, 4500 E. Sunset Rd. in Henderson.
Featuring the best of locally produced Las Vegas independent feature films, the series will screen award-winning indie feature films every two weeks on Friday nights at midnight. Filmmakers and cast members will be present for Q&A after each screening. Cost is $7.50. Audience members are encouraged to come dressed as characters from the movies or in any costume they choose. Free tickets to future Midnight Treasures screenings are awarded to the 'best costume of the night' as voted by the audience.
Each Midnight Treasures feature will be preceded by an award-winning short film by a filmmaker from the UNLV Department of Film program.
