The UNLV Performing Arts Center welcomes Orquesta Sinf?nica del Estado M?xico -- featuring Enrique Bat?z, music director and chief conductor, with Alfonso Moreno, guitar soloist -- at 8 p.m, Friday, March 20.
Having toured around the world, the Orquesta Sinf?nica del Estado M?xico (State Symphony Orchestra of Mexico) returns with a program that includes Turina's "Danzas fantasticas"; Mexican composer Manuel Ponce's guitar concerto, "Southern"; and Brahms' "Symphony No. 1 in C Minor."

Tickets for Orquesta Sinf?nica del Estado M?xico are $75, $55, $40, and $25 and can be purchased at the Performing Arts Center Box Office at 702-895-ARTS (2787) or by visiting pac.unlv.edu. Student rush tickets are $10 each (not inclusive of the facilities fee), and available one hour prior to each event, based on availability and with valid student I.D. UNLV faculty and staff discounts also are available.
A $1.25 facilities fee, in addition to the ticket price, is charged on all Performing Arts Center tickets. The box office is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday. Founded in 1976, the Performing Arts Center at UNLV is Southern Nevada's original performing arts venue. Located on the north end of the UNLV campus, the PAC hosts a variety of performances and is home to the Charles Vanda Master Series.
