Oct. 8 – 17, 2021
Set in Paris before World War I, this delightfully witty farce takes place in the winter garden of a palatial estate owned by the incorrigible Madame Demortes, aunt to the roguishly charming Hugo. Ever cynical about love, Hugo suspects that his lovesick and emotionally sensitive twin brother, Frederic, is engaged to the wrong woman — the wealthy and seemingly indifferent Diana. Hugo schemes to turn Frederic’s head from Diane to a new conquest — the breathtakingly innocent and enchanting dancer, Isabelle. Mistaken identities, unrequited love, reunited school chums, and a whole pot of noodles with no butter or salt add flavor to this quick-paced romantic comedy that will delight the entire family.

Howard Ashman and Alan Menken’s sci-fi smash musical, Little Shop of Horrors, comes to the NCT stage!
In this homage to B movies, the creative team behind beloved Disney classics such as The Little Mermaid and Aladdin give us the story of Seymour, a meek flower shop assistant who pines for his co-worker, Audrey. Seymour is thrilled to discover a mysterious plant, but when that plant turns out to feed on blood and crave world domination, things (literally) get messy. This devious, delicious musical will provide creepy fun for the whole family.

In Shakespeare’s enchanting comedy, four mismatched paramours run away and wander into a magical forest. Over the course of one exhilarating night, the young lovers, along with an unsuspecting aspirational theater troupe, cross paths with the fairy king and queen, who are facing their own domestic turmoil. Misguided passions mix with magic spells as this classical romantic fantasy blurs the lines between order and disorder, reality and illusion, turning love and marriage on their heads in a comical knot that can’t be untangled until morning!
