The Nevada Conservatory Theatre kicks-off the Halloween season with Shakespeare's ghostly "Macbeth" Oct. 14-30 in the Black Box Theatre. Darren Weller directs.
A Scottish general receives a prophecy from three witches that changes the course of his life. Driven by ambition to become King, Macbeth will kill anyone that gets in his way. Paranoia, deception, and treachery consume Macbeth and his wife, as they come to terms with his prophesied fate.
The cast includes Marcus Weiss as Macbeth/Porter; Rayme Cornell as Lady Macbeth/Malcolm; Nate Marble as Duncan/Witch/Old Man; Delius Doherty as Lennox/Witch/Doctor; Lysander Abadia as Ross/Witch/Murderer; Josh Horton as Macduff/Murderer; Alexis Hudson as Lady Macduff/Banquo; Kimm Stewart as Hecate/Seyton; Diego Calinawan as Voice of Hecate/Murderer; Garrison-Lopez-Quizon as Donalbain; AJ Vehec as Fleance; Ken Haley as Macduff's Child/Messenger/Attendant; Will Haley as Macduff's Child; Ashlee Grubbs as Macduff's Child; and Maxwell Claydon as Macduff's Child/Attendant.
The production and design team include scenic designer Angel Sandoval, lighting designer John Wampler, sound designers Toby Allen and Cassie Smith, costume designer Hailey Eakle, technical director Hannah D'Elia, and production stage manager Heather Radovich.
