The Entertainment Engineering and Design program at UNLV combines courses from engineering and fine arts to develop artistic and technical elements of modern stage production. It's the first of its kind in the United States. The program began roughly five years ago at UNLV with four students and now enrolls more than 100, with graduates making their mark on the high-impact shows of the Las Vegas Strip.
In the program, students learn engineering principles, coupled with aesthetic design, to help to find creative ways to captivate worldwide audiences who demand innovative entertainment.
