The UNLV Performing Arts Center welcomes Grammy Award-winning classical guitarist David Russell at 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 17, in the Dr. Arturo Rando-Grillot Recital Hall. The concert is part of the 2016-17 Allegro Guitar Series.
Avid marathon runner and head of his own non-governmental organization focused on developing water resources, Russell also is arguably the world's best classical guitarist. Winner of the Grammy for best instrumental solo performance, he appears in halls all over the world.
Tickets
Tickets to David Russell are $45, and can be purchased through the Performing Arts Center Box Office or by calling 702-895-ARTS (2787). Student rush tickets are $15 each (not inclusive of the facilities fee) and available one hour prior to each event, based on availability and with valid student ID. UNLV faculty and staff discounts also are available.
A $1.50 facilities fee, in addition to the ticket price, is charged on all Performing Arts Center tickets. The box office is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.
About the PAC
The UNLV Performing Arts Center is Southern Nevada's first home for the arts: it opened in 1976 and celebrates its 41st season this year. It hosts a variety of performances and events and is home to productions presented by the Nevada Conservatory Theatre, UNLV School of Music, UNLV Dance, Desert Chorale, and the Southern Nevada Musical Arts Society.
