The department of theatre and Nevada Conservatory Theatre welcome Broadway's "Hamilton" star Anthony Ramos for a special WebEx conversation at 5 p.m. Nov. 19. Moderated by theatre professor Douglas Carpenter, the talk and Q&A are open to the UNLV community.
Ramos made his Broadway debut in two pivotal parts in the mega-hit musical Hamilton as John Laurens and Philip Hamilton. He has appeared in a national tour of Damn Yankees as well as regional productions of In the Heights and Grease. His screen roles include Younger and the feature film White Girl. He is set to start as Usnavi in the film adaptation of Lin-Manuel Miranda's In the Heights in 2021.
