Optimism has cooled off a bit since the fall when the economy started reopening and would-be buyers could come to kick the floorboards in model homes again.
Today, U.S. Senator Jacky Rosen (D-NV), a member of the Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation, released the following statement applauding the National Science Foundation (NSF) for awarding a grant totaling $882,699 to the University of Nevada Las Vegas (UNLV) to foster an interest in STEM education among a diverse group of middle school students and motivate them to pursue STEM careers.

As the COVID-19 case counts and the positivity rate continues to increase in our community, the Southern Nevada Health District is now recommending that both unvaccinated and vaccinated people wear masks in crowded indoor public places where they may have contact with others who are not fully vaccinated.
