Dr. Megan Rauch Griffard from UNLV’s Department of Educational Psychology and Higher Education’s project Dissecting the Educator Talent Pipeline and Educators’ ROI in Nevada will focus on whether CTE certificates in education concentrations lead to eventual employment in education, seek to understand how long NSHE education majors take to earn their desired degree by educational attainment level, and how the wages of educators compare to other workers with comparable education and experience in Nevada by educational attainment level.

The Vegas Loop will be expanding its reach once again following a 6-0 vote during Tuesday’s Las Vegas planning commission meeting in favor of the company updating their route to include more track throughout Las Vegas city limits.

The property’s “vice president of people” – a human resources leader – Kimberly Virtuoso was also promoted to senior vice president of people. She will oversee the resort’s human resources strategy and the online recruitment portal, the company said. Virtuoso previously served as executive director of corporate human resources for MGM Resorts International and is an instructor at University of Nevada, Las Vegas’ continuing education department.
