Nike is moving to corner the university athletic logo business. A Business Journal investigation this week found the Washington County footwear and apparel giant now requires that top athletic programs use Nike designers for athletic logos. Nike is the dominant supplier of top athletic programs, supplying 10 of the Pac-12 universities alone. Its market share is just as dominant in other conferences.
