On this episode, I was joined by Lyndsey Craig, a researcher and Ph.D. student of Anthropology at UNLV. She recently penned a paper titled, “Pubic Hair Removal Practices in Cross-Cultural Perspective.”

Earlier this year, hackers brought the city of Baltimore to its knees. City employees were locked out of even the simplest systems, and email and phone systems were crippled as citizens were prevented from completing transactions such as paying a water bill.

The student population at Nevada’s higher education institutions consistently are some of the nation’s most diverse, including at UNLV, which U.S. News & World Report ranks as the nation’s most diverse campus.
This is the part of the United States Code that makes entering the U.S. without documents a misdemeanor. It’s repeal would mean that entering the U.S. without papers would be a civil offense, rather than a criminal one.

Not long ago, I had the privilege of making my first visit to the new UNLV School of Medicine. It was immensely gratifying to witness firsthand the leadership, faculty and students embracing change — in the way medical students are taught and trained and in the school’s commitment to reimagining the way tomorrow’s physicians will care for their future patients.
