UNLV students confronted administrators Tuesday over the university’s response to a shooting threat discovered in a bathroom stall on campus on Oct. 10.

University researchers and evaluators working with rural schools, the community-school model, and Native American communities in Wisconsin shared their expertise and latest evidence-based findings recently in a public hearing at the state Capitol focused on the critical intersection between education and health.

Representatives from ten different parks and educational institutions came to the Lost City Museum to participate in the annual International Archaeology Day which was held on Saturday, Oct. 19. Each was there to share the mysteries of the past found in the rocks and soils around the world.
