The infamous connections between Saratoga and Las Vegas might be getting further cred as the Saratoga County History Center teams up with Sin City’s Mob Museum. The partnership between the Mob Museum and the SCHC will begin when museum trustee and University of Nevada Las Vegas history professor, Michael Green, speaks at SCHC’s “Experts Next Door” event on September 21. Green will be talking about the links between Saratoga and Las Vegas.

Authorities found a set of human remains at Lake Mead in Nevada on Monday. It's the third set of remains found in as many months.

On Friday and over the weekend, Northern Nevadans met at the U.S. District Courthouse in Reno to protest the recent Supreme Court decision striking down Roe v. Wade. Indivisible Northern Nevada and the Wild West Access Fund spread the word about the first protest which attracted a large crowd. The fund is a mutual aid group aimed at gathering and giving out resources for people looking to get abortions throughout the West.
