British director Laura James leads the creation of this reimagining of the classic fairy tale.

Prima la musica will be sung in Italian with English supertitles; Thomas Pasatieri’s La Divina will be sung in English.

Since 1991, the trio has captivated audiences by seamlessly crisscrossing genres, intersecting rock, jazz, classical, and world music.

The program includes John McMurtery performing Bach's Partita in A Minor for solo flute, Mozart's Quintet in E-flat Major for piano and winds, and Brahms' Clarinet Trio, Op. 114.

The concert features works by faculty and artists-in-residence, including choreography by the newest UNLV Dance faculty member Hayley Meier.

Co-presented by philanthropist Susan N. Houston, the College of Fine Arts hosts the free annual Art Walk to honor the Las Vegas community for its dedicated support of the arts and culture in Southern Nevada.

The album features the Boston Brass Quintet and Joseph Alessi, Principal Trombone of the New York Philharmonic and UNLV Distinguished Artist-in-Residence.
