Jacob White (Anthropology PhD candidate) was awarded the UNLV Foundation Board of Trustees Fellowship. This fellowship is given for two years and includes stipends and benefits totaling $30,000 per year.  It is among the most prestigious offered by the UNLV. White's faculty advisor is professor Daniel Benyshek.
Michael Green (History) received the Superior Achievement Award from the Illinois State Historical Society for his book, Lincoln and Native Americans, published by Southern Illinois University Press.

Drs. Gregory P. Brown, Lisa Durette, Timothy Ebright, and Katie Cho, wrote the lead article, "Restoring Wholeness to Psychiatry: Models of Understanding." for the International Journal of Healing and Caring. All four are from the department of psychiatry and behavioral health. 
Hope Hinchman, Karen Eisenburg, Jacquelin Killian  and 19 students (all Nursing) have been inducted into the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. Hinchman will be the vice president of UNLV's chapter. Eisenburg will be UNLV's counselor. Killian will serve as a member of the Succession Committee.
Jennifer Peltier (Nursing) won Best Poster at the 2022 Western Institute of Nursing Conference for her work on implementing and evaluating virtual escape rooms. She is a doctoral student.

Dave Beisecker (Philosophy) recently delivered the Presidential Address for the New Mexico-Texas Philosophical Association at Baylor University. The address was  “Truth and the Topology of Assertion.”
Kaitlin Clinnin (English) was recently interviewed for the podcast "Pedagogue." In the interview, she discusses gun violence and trauma in educational contexts, emotional labor and writing program administration, crisis management and response in higher education, and technology during the pandemic.
