Susan Byrne (World Languages and Cultures) presented a paper titled, "La estética de la belleza en Cervantes," during the XXI Conference of the Asociación Internacional de Hispanistas, held in Neuchatel, Switzerland, from July 10-15, 2023.

A recent article published in Ars Technica is based upon an earlier publication of UNLV professor Hal Berghel (Computer Science) on VoIP swatting. The Ars Technica article used Berghel's article as background in the announcement of the FBI's creation of a database on VoIP swatting to be shared by law enforcement. 

Maggie Farrell (Libraries) has been appointed to serve as an American Library Association Endowment Trustee. The ALA Endowment plays a significant role in the financial health of the ALA by generating revenue for general operations, major programs, new initiatives, scholarships, and awards.

Drs.
